New Implementation of the mt.gov Template

To obtain the files for new implementation of the mt.gov templates, email DOA ITSD Web Work and we will send a .zip file to you via the state File Transfer Service. Use the files in the code folder for a clickable main menu (recommended), and the files in the dropcode folder for a menu with JavaScript dropdowns.

Examples of the new template include: template.asp, template3.col.asp, templateleftnav.asp, templaterightnav.asp, templatenodrop.asp, and templaterightnav.asp. You may use these as starting points for your new mt.gov pages. The pages features include:

  • Structural XHTML
  • Valid CSS
  • ASP or ASP.NET (ready to run on IIS)
  • May be customized to run as PHP, SHTML, or other served pages
  • Fitted to the State of Montana's web-based content and document management system, iLevel Insite

It is recommended that you contact the Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) if you are interested in implementing the mt.gov template and have never used the template.
